After a long search in various regions of Argentina, François Lurton decides to implant his vineyards in high and semi-desert lands (poor gravels reminiscent of those of Pessac-Léognan) in the plains at the foot of the Andes mountain range: the Valley of Uco. These unexplored lands are in the district of Los Chacayes, a name that François Lurton will give to his great cuvée. Our pioneer in the Uco Valley built his winery, Bodega Piedra Negra, on 200 hectares of virgin land. Thanks to his experience, acquired all over the world, he immediately puts into practice an environmentally friendly viticulture. He discovers our vineyards and our ecological philosophy in a private and commented tour. An experience to discover wine in another way.
